This Autumn the team have created a collection that goes above and beyond your everyday needs, with pieces that utilise lightweight materials, stretch fabrics, wrinkle free finishes and new eco-friendly options. We ask a couple of our in-house designers what they think about the new range and what inspired them to create such a multifunctional collection. Miranda is our in house product developer specialising in shirts and outerwear. She has always had a fascination for pushing the boundaries of menswear whilst ensuring wearability always comes first. What was the Autumn 2021 inspiration for you? The world has shifted so we have shifted the way we design a range - comfort has been pushed to the forefront of our minds. We took this as an opportunity to bring practicality into the wardrobe, but still ensuring our customers feel stylish and confident. This Autumn range is preppy incorporating a lot of primary colours and colour blocking. We are not trying to be anyone else - except our loyal Aussie guy, who we will remain loyal to in return. Most of this Autumn/Winter range was designed working from home, which like everyone else, lead us to new ways of working. I am especially excited for our Winter range will be a follow on from Autumn, so stay tuned! What do you think are the key benefits to the New Autumn range? I am spending time getting to know our customers and ensuring each garment has a purpose. Whether that is a basic that is going to last, or a casual jacket with functional linings and cosy pockets - I put attention to every detail of a garment to ensure it is serving a hybrid purpose of practicality and taste. Everything we designed this Autumn is made to be worn from week-to-weekend, so whether you are going out for drinks with mates or taking the kids to the footy, we have got you covered. What do you love about GAZMAN? We hold our customers trust in our hands and I do not take that for granted. Gazman lends itself to a magnitude of generations and we are conscious of that when designing our ranges. Each garment is inclusive, I like our customers to always feel like our fresh ideas are within reach. When I first started at GAZMAN, I saw how much potential the brand holds. There are so many exciting progressions in the pipeline and this autumn and winter gave me a huge opportunity to explore innovative approaches whilst paying homage to the classic Aussie brand. Ashlie Campbell is GAZMANS product developer for woven bottom and accessories. Ashlie joined the GAZMAN family in 2015 and had been working in the fashion industry for 19 years! What was your inspiration behind the Autumn 2021 range? One of the key inspirations behind the Autumn Winter 2021 range was “weekend warrior’. We really explored the theme of what is the Gazman Man is doing on his weekends. Is it playing sport or lugging kids around to their various activities? Comfort is key for a great work life balance and even more so now with many of us having to adapt to the new Covid 19 normal and working from home. We have gone above and beyond to create a range that is functional, practical and stylish for all weekend long. What do you think are the key benefits of this range? Comfort and performance are always in the for front of our minds when designing the Gazman range. We take care in selecting the fabrications and trims on each garment. This year we have taken extra care in the selection of designs and finishes to ensure our customer is comfortable both at home, on the weekend and in the office. What do you love most about GAZMAN clothing? I love that Gazman offers quality, timeless and accessible clothing to men of all generations. Shop the new Autumn collection
